Terms & Conditions

By booking or attending a session with Mahu, you agree to the following terms:

1. Holistic Services

  • Mahu offers non-medical, holistic support through Sound Healing, Reiki, and Circle Facilitation.

  • These sessions are complementary and do not replace medical care or professional mental health support.

  • I am not a doctor, counsellor, or mental health professional, and do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat medical conditions.

2. Individual Responsibility

  • You are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing before, during, and after a session.

  • If you have any diagnosed health conditions or are under medical or psychological care, please consult your doctor or specialist before booking a session.

  • Some individuals may feel temporary emotional or physical shifts after energy-based sessions — this is part of the body’s natural process of integration, but if concerned, you should seek medical advice.

3. Group Circles

  • Mahu Circles are not therapy groups. They are supportive spaces to share, be witnessed, and listen deeply.

  • You are invited to participate voluntarily and are always free to pass or opt out.

  • These spaces are built on mutual respect, confidentiality, and non-judgement. I do not provide therapeutic intervention or crisis support.

4. Booking and Payment

  • Sessions must be paid for in advance unless otherwise agreed.

  • Please give at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may not be refunded.

5. Insurance and Liability

  • I am fully insured to offer one-to-one Sound Healing and Reiki treatments.

  • At this time, group Sound Baths and Circle sessions are offered with care, intention, and experience, but are not currently covered by my practitioner insurance.

  • By choosing to attend these sessions, you acknowledge that you are doing so at your own discretion and take full responsibility for your wellbeing during and after the experience.

  • While every effort is made to create a safe and supportive environment, Mahu cannot accept liability for any physical, emotional, or psychological effects that may arise during or after a group session.

6. Confidentiality

  • All records are kept in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018

  • What is shared in Circle or during a session is treated with care and confidentiality, within the bounds of safety.

  • Exceptions may be made if there is risk of harm to yourself or others, or if required by law.
